The FAULT light illuminates during the FAUL/INOP or OVHT/FIRE Test.

With the Fire Switch being rotated

-Engine and Spar Fuel SOV close
-Hydraulic Fluid SOV closes and low pressure pump deactivates
-Engine Bleed Air valve closes (loss of wing anti-ice and Pack Valve)
-Trips Generator Control Relay and Breaker
-Disables Thrust reverser on affected engine
-Arms one squid on each bottle
-Allows the engine fire switch to be rotated for bottle discharge
What are the effects of pulling the APU Fire Switch up?
-Provides backup for the automatic shutdown feature
-Deactivates fuel solenoid and closes APU Fuel SOV
-Closes APU Bleed Air valve
-Closes APU Air Inlet Door
-Trips the APU Generator Control Relay and Breaker
-Allows the APU Fire Switch to be rotated for discharge
-Arms the APU squib
Will the APU fire bottle discharge automatically for an APU fire?
It will automatically shut down, but the bottle must be manually discharged.
Where is the APU Fire Ground Control Panel?
In the Main Wheel Well
Does the Main Wheel Well have a fire extinguishing system?
No

With the Master FIRE WARN switch or the Fire Warning BELL CUTOUT switch
