From left to right, what are the three FMA mode annunciations?
Autothrottle, Roll, Pitch
How is independent F/D operation indicated on the MCP?
By illumination of both MA (respective Master) lights

-Pushing an illuminated A/P ENGAGE Switch
-Loss of associated hydraulic system pressure

-Manualling overriding the Control Wheel
What does the STAB OUT OF TRIM (amber) light indicate?
Only with A/P engaged and A/P is not trimming the stabilizer properly

FMCs

THR HOLD

SPD Mode

-Advances thrust toward the REDUCED GA N1 to produce 1000-2000fpm (FMA: GA)
-A/P disengages
-Roll goes to Ground Track
-Pitch goes to 15 degrees until reaching rate of climb, then target flap speed
-IAS/MACH screens go blank
Second push:
-A/T advances to the FULL GA N1 limit
