  1. Arrest and book the person according to procedures if the person has committed a criminal offense and the officer has a legal authority to arrest; or
    b. If after an arrest, an officer is ordered by a Magistrate to conduct a Magistrate’s Order for Emergency Apprehension and Detention in lieu of the arrest, the officer will ___ the person with mental illness on the correct report.
