Gather relevant information, and a photograph.
Call Homicide to inform them of the person is still missing
And if there may be foul play.
Amber alert requires all of these factors to be met.
- younger than 17
- LE believes the person was abducted
- LE believes the person is at risk of serious bodily injury or death
- LE verified the abduction and ruled out alternatives
- Sufficient info to give to public
Also includes:
•Immediate danger of becoming a victim of sexual assault
•Child younger that 14, who has been taken out of custody of a guardian
•More than 3 years older than the child and not related to the child in any way and not having the permission of the guardian.
