A
- Refers to the concept a person has of his/her body as an object in space, independent of all other objects
- How individual sees him/herself in their “mind’s eye”
- Includes dimensions of body proportion & performance characteristics

- Conscious awareness and identification of the location, position, and movement of the body and its individual parts in space
- Interrelationships among those body parts
- Relationship between the body and its parts (moving or stationary) to the external environment
