What are the different phases of swallowing
A
Oral Phase- Tongue propels food bolus into phalynx
Pharyngeal phase- soft palate pulled up, UOS relaxes
Oesophageal phase- Once bolus passes under, sphincter constricts

What is Rinnie’s test?
A
Screens for conductive hearing loss. Sounds will be better heard behind the ear (512 Hz)

What is Weber’s test?
A
Sensoneurial hearing loss, Strike head and the sound will localise to the ear that is normal and therefore it will be said there is sensoneurial loss in the other ear (128Hz)
