We build things like offices, houses, use it for tourism, for transport and more, these form it into a very touristy before environment area

They are causing long shore drift to stop further up or down the coast, where erosion will take place.

No the only thing that directly effects the coast is HARD coastline protection methods

It builds onto the already existing beach
How does industry affect the coastline?
It rises tourism, causing more money to be spent on things other than protecting the coastlines.
