-Businesses collapsed, unemployment soared
-Voters who ignored Hitler in 1920 started listening
-Nazi’s repeated their core beliefs
-TofV a crime
-Jews blamed for economic problems
-Message same as 1920 except Germans were desperate and wanted to believe them
-They seemed more organised and disciplined

Why were Germans unhappy with the Weimar Gov and how did this help the Nazis?

A

-Weimar politician couldn’t agree how to help unemployed
-achieved very little
-Chancellor Bruning was passing laws under the Presidents emergency decrees and making them legal under Article 48
-Hindenburg(had a lot of land) withdrew his support when Bruning tried to take away land and give it to the poot he then resigned
-Weimar Germany democracy wasn’t working

A

-1917 communist revolution in russia
-Took over all buisnesses and farms
Hitler said he would fight communism and sent SA to beat up C gangs
-support from middle and upper class as they had lots of land and didn’t want to lose wealth or status
