How is the cism team activated

When a critical incident happens anyone on the scene can request a cism team member. Generally through a supervisor though.

Cism members on duty will be first called to respond. Off duty members will be compensated if they come in while off.

Communication will call the cism team coordinator anytime a critical incident happens

Admin liaison - between command staff and cism team

Program coordinator - responsible for overall program and call outs

Assistant program coordinator - assists program director and will be in charge if program coordinator is away.

Clinical director - licensed professional counselor

Mental health professionals - volunteer who helps with the program development and process. Can be a clinical director

Team members - training in crisis intervention

Must attend quarterly meetings unless excused absence occurs.
