Why did population increase lead to poverty?
- price of food increased
- more people to work-wages cheaper
- demand for farmland increased, increased rent on tenant farmers
All these reasons resulted in increased poverty

-some people can’t afford food as wages don’t increase. This leads to poverty and vagabondage

- less land used for crops+ crops used to feed animals (food more expensive)

Wool accounted for 81.6% of exports especially to areas such as the Netherlands
-Dutch revolt stopped the trade and put people out of buisness-causing poverty
