Explain each type of production and provide an example.

A

Job- One single item is completed at a time to customer specifications. Each product is unique and may take a long time to make.
Batch- Several of the same product are made at the same time. When the first batch is completed, the second batch is manufactured.
Flow- One product is made continuously in a large amount, e.g. cars.
Process- Manufacturing of goods which can’t be disassembled.
