LCO 3.1.1 title
Shutdown Margin
LCO 3.1.1 requirement
SDM shall be w/in limits specified in the COLR
LCO 3.1.1 applicability
Modes 3-5
LCO 3.1.1 required actions < 1 hour
SDM not w/in limit, then initiate boration to restore SDM to w/in limit w/in 15 minutes
LCO 3.1.4 title
Control Rod Alignment
LCO 3.1.4 requirement
All rods shall be operable and aligned to w/in 8” of all other rods in their respective group, and the rod position deviation alarm shall be operable
LCO 3.1.4 applicability
Modes 1 and 2
LCO 3.1.4 required actions < 1 hour
- 1 channel of rod position indication inoperable for 1 or more rods, then perform rod position verification w/in 15 minutes following any rod motion in that group
- Rod position deviation alarm inoperable, then perform rod position verification w/in 15 minutes of any control rod movement
LCO 3.1.5 title
Shutdown and Part-Length Control Rod Group Insertion Limits
LCO 3.1.5 requirement
All shutdown and part-length rod groups shall be withdrawn to >= 128”
LCO 3.1.5 applicability
- Mode 1
- Mode 2 with any reg rod withdrawn above 5”
- Not applicable while performing rod exercise test
LCO 3.1.5 required actions < 1 hour
1 or more shutdown or part-length rods not w/in limit, then immediately declare affected rod(s) inoperable and enter applicable conditions and required actions of LCO 3.1.4
LCO 3.1.6 title
Regulating Rod Group Position Limits
LCO 3.1.6 requirement
PDIL and CROOS alarm circuits shall be operable and the reg rod groups shall be limited to the withdrawal sequence, overlap, and insertion limits specified in the COLR
LCO 3.1.6 applicability
- Modes 1 and 2
- Not applicable while performing rod exercise test
