- recognize antigens through TCRs on the virus infected

A
T killer cells secrete perforins and granzymes
Perforin open pores in membrane of the largest cells granzyme enters, this induces apoptosis

A
- have surface protein CD4 - its a coreceptor for MHC2
- B cells differentiate into plasma cells and synthesize antibodies
- peptides are enogenous
