What is productivity software and examples?
General use software for completing tasks accurately and efficiently. Examples could be Word processors, presentation software and web browsers e.g Word, Excel, Gmail, Office 365
What are development tools and an example?
Tools for programmers to edit and create software, for example an integrated development environment (IDE) which include translator, debugger and compiler
What is business software?
Business software is specialist software that is tailored to a business.
Project Management : used to schedule tasks (e.g Gantt chart)
MIS : collects, stores and analyses data for an organisation, can be used to connect different aspects of a business
CAD/CAM: more accurate and efficient way to design and test products.
What is an application software?
A software designed to carry out specific tasks unrelated to the computer itself
