• Maintain body warmth
• Provide spinal immobilization if indicated
  
  • Infants and children < 60lbs, use Pedi-Immobilizer
• Airway/breathing management
  
  • Monitor SpO2
  • Administer O2 via proper adjunct to maintain oxygen saturation of 95% or >.
• Immobilize impaled objects in place unless the object must be removed to stabilize the airway
• Control bleeding with direct pressure
  
  • Apply tourniquet if applicable for uncontrolled hemorrhage
• Initiate cardiac monitoring
