Q

What are the superficial lymph nodes of the neck?

A

Superficial nodes in neck associated with route of EJV or AJV: superficial to SCM

Q

What is the tongue’s lymphatic drainage?

A

Posterior 1/3 drains to deep cervical nodes

Tip of tonuge drains to submental nodes draw a line down from area of tongue and the nodes it hits is basically where it drains to

16
Q

What are the 3 main deep lymph nodes?

A

Jugulo-digastric
Jugulo-omohyoid
Supraclavicular (virchow’s node= left supraclavicular)

17
Q

What do the jugulo-digastric nodes drain?

A

Drain tonsils, tissues of upper digestive tract

18
Q

What do jugulo-omohyoid nodes drain?

A

Part of tongue, oral cavity, trachea, oesophagus & thyroid

19
Q

What do the Supraclavicular lymph nodes drain?

A

Left nodes (Virchow’s node)- abdominal cavity and thorax
enlarged=suggestive of gastric cancer

Right nodes- Mid chest, oesophagus and lungs

20
Q

What lymph nodes are enlarged?

A

Submental nodes

21
Q

What lymph nodes are enlarged?

A

Pre-auricular

22
Q

What lymph nodes are enlarged?

A

Jugulodigastric

23
Q

What lymph nodes are enlarged?

A

Deep lymph nodes
