Q

What is the difference between clumped and uniform distribution?

A

Clumped distribution is when animals stay together either to protect themselves from predators or to share food they hunt. Where as in Uniform distribution is when the same species of animals are spread out because they have a limited amount of resources.

Q

Why might animals be in either three distribution (clumped, random, or uniform) pattern?

A

Animals that are in uniform distribution have to spread out due to the amount of resources in the area. Animals that are in a clumped distribution do this because they want to protect themselves. Plants that are in random distribution patterns are like this because they grow wherever they were blown or dropped on the ground.
