Q

On the flop, what sizes of the dynamic-static board spectrum should bet sizes be larger vs smaller?

A

Bet sizes should be larger when boards are more dynamic as we have more incentive to deny equity and end a hand more quickly.

Q

What is our hand’s most important set of attributes vs the board when generating fold equity.

A

Multi-component board interaction is particularly relevant for the weaker combos that we bet, because EV of betting them relies on generating fold equity.

We need those components to stack together.

Q

What are some attributes of Paired boards?

A

–Self explanatory–

Higher pairs tend to favor the aggressor.

Under-fulls should be treated with caution, because we can rarely bet this for value for 3 streets, by doing so, we narrow down villain’s range to something that can potentially dominate us.

IP never 3 bets a single bet because there are no semi-bluffs on this board, such as a connected low card. But in this case, he’ll be raising hands that have closer to 0 equity.

Q

What are some attributes of Monotone boards?

A

Aggressor tends to have slightly more flush blockers than the defender, but there are no advantages in NF and non-NF.

Semi-bluffs on this board will need a flush blocker otherwise they should be folded.
