2.0 - Universal Flop Concepts Flashcards
Who has a polarity advantage after the flop went X-X?
OOP, because the fact that IP checked back the flop caps his range.
How should we pay attention to OOP’s leads?
Be aware if your opponent is playing leads on cards that are good for his range. Play much more passively when checked to if playing against a villain who does not play any turn leads.
What is indifference?
The point where villain feels like he has a puke decision. Not sure if he should call or if he should fold.
How do we want our cards structured when betting for value?
If we want a call, we want some card blocking to prevent a freeroll or getting chopped, but otherwise we want to be unblocking villain’s bluff catchers.
How do we want our cards structured when bluffing?
We want blockers in our hand so that villain folds. When we are semi-bluffing, we might want some of the worst cards (only) on the board unblocked so that if we are called then it is with weak hands.
