How does a mortise and tenon joint work
PVA glue is spread into the mortise and the 2 parts are clamped together
How does a housing joint work
The joint is to be glued together
And can be made relatively easily with a tenon saw and chisel or a router
How does a butt joint work
Relies on an adhesive to make the joint
How does a comb joint work
The joint creates a greater gluing area that makes a very strong joint
Easily cut with a band saw or laser cut or even with a tenon and chisel
How does a mitre joint work
Rely on simply gluing the components together however the components meet at a 45 degree angle
How does a half lap joint work
Simple joint made to increase gluing surface area
Easy to cut out with a tenon saw
