Osteoporosis is prevent by doing weight bearing exercises. A person who is sedentary does not do weight bearing exercise, therefore increasing the risk of osteoporosis.

A

A condition where the bones become brittle and more likely to break.

How does a sedentary lifestyle result in loss of muscle tone and poor posture?

A

When you are standing or moving you have to use your abdominal muscles to keep upright. This helps with good posture. A sedentary person does not do this enough to have this impact.
