A person who is extremely overweight

Having to much body composition as fat
How do you measure body composition?
BMI
How do you calculate BMI

If someone is overweight does this mean they are unhealthy?
No. A person may have a large proportion of their body that is muscle making them heavier.
If a person is overfat does this mean they are unhealthy?
Yes.
What are the negative health consequences to being overfat?
An increased risk of CHD Type 2 diabetes High blood pressure Poor posture
What is depression?
A persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest
How does a sedentary lifestyle lead to depression?
Doing exercise can help reduce the chance of depression and if you are depressed can help improve this
How does a sedentary lifestyle lead to CHD?
Build up of fat deposits which can clog the heart.
How does a sedentary lifestyle lead to high blood pressure?
Exercise helps to reduce blood pressure by making the walls of the arteries more stretching. Not exercising has the opposite effect, increasing blood pressure.
How does a sedentary lifestyle lead to type 2 diabetes?
People who exercise are less likely to develop type 23 diabetes as they do not have excess stores of glycogen.
