• In the dialogue with Prometheus he lays out the prophecy surrounding the son Thetis will bear, which is Achilles in the Iliad. Moreover, the story of the Iliad starts because of the apple of discord and that whole shebang happened during Thetis’ wedding to Peleus
• He also mentions the rebellion of Athena and Hera - when Thetis helped Zeus (this is why Zeus owes her a favour as we see in Iliad 1)
