Define: Relational transgression
- Violating relational rules

- charges about a persons faults or actions
Informative statements:
- disclosure of unwanted information
- Most harmful when intentional

Active verbal:
- Confronting the partner through positive or negative communication
Acquiescent:
- Giving in and acknowledging partner’s ability to hurt you
Invulnerable:
- Acting unaffected by the hurt
Define: Deception
- Intentionally managing verbal and/or non-verbal messages to make the receiver believe something that is false
- Computer mediated = deception about physical appearance and interests

Feeling or showing an envious resentment of someone or their achievements, possessions, or advantages
