1- Work Management Flashcards
What are the four work priorities?
- Emergencies
- Preventative Maintenance
- Corrective Maintenance
- Enhancement
Describe the purpose and process of the WRRB
Work Request Review Board - approval of execution and scheduling decisions
- outside elements such as fire, environmental etc provide input
- Ops flight commander reviews work tasks and determines what work tasks will be done
Describe the different steps of the Work Management planning/scheduling process
1) Internal and external customers send a service request, R&O works with the customer to validate request, where it is then sent to the WRWG, Ops Planner, and WRRB. This process ends with the service request either going to CEO and being handled in the sqn or to CEN to be programmed.
What is a Work Task?
building block of all shop related work; completed by ops flights
What is a facility project?
Multiple work tasks together, larger than a work task
What is an opportunity?
A worktask turns into an opportunity when it is sent to the CEN flight
What is a capital project?
An opportunity with intent for funding and approval
What is considered a priority 1?
Emergency: unscheduled, needed to sustain/ensure mission ops, cannot go home until it is mitigated
What is a priority 2? (A and B)
2A Preventative Maintenance/Plant Operations: O&M of utility based plants or scheduled preventative maintenance
2B Troop Training Projects: Multi-craft work orders
What is a priority 3? (A, B, C)
3A High Priority Corrective Maintenance: high mission/equipment sustainment risk (ex repair fire detection system in the CDC)
3B Medium Priority Corrective Maintenance: medium equipment/mission sustainment risk, respond to prevent failure (ex base gym, HVAC in offices)
3C Low Priority Corrective Maintenance: lower risk than the others (ex bowling alley, auto hobby shop)
What is a priority 4? (A and B)
4A Enhancement with mission impact: ex replace carpet, lighting upgrades
4B Enhancement with NO mission impact: ex parking signs, air shows, static displays
