What are the factors which effect Wing Tip Vortices and what reduces them?
A
- Pressure differential between the upper and lower surfaces of the wing
- Amount of time the driving force has to act on the air mass
To reduce Wing Tip Vortices:
- Higher speed
- Increase Aspect Ratio
- Reduce the amount of lift being produced
- Deploy Flaps
