Describe the study in 1996, that was published by Bronshtein, Blumenfeld and Blumenfeld

A

-In Israel, ultrasound is performed transvaginally at 14-16 weeks.
-on average 18-22 weeks back in that time
-RQ: How many birth defects and what happens after that? what action do they take place
when a deformation is discovered from ultrasound, they took a different point of action = cultural differences
-Based on 24,000 scans of births over 10 years
15 cases of CL were detected by the ultrasound and out of those 15, 14 families decided to terminate the pregnancy.
