Q

What triggers Autopilot to automatically disengage?

A
  • FCC detects failure in any axis
  • Powerloss to an active FCC (Flight Control Computer)
  • Loss of either IRS (Inertial Reference System)
  • Dual yaw damper failure
  • Excessive AC attitude +25 or -17 pitch, or 45 roll.
  • Stick shaker activates
  • AFCS switch (Automatic Flight Control System)
  • 2 seconds after WINDSHEAR warning
