Formed RAF Church Fenton on the 15th March 1969 when UAS Hull formed RAF Driffield conjoined with UAS Leeds formed at Yeadon.

HQ RAF Leeming built as a bomber base opened ww2 1940 originally flying Whitley Bomber. Operated as QRF training base with the Tornado F3

What does the YUAS do?
A
Flying training, leadership training, adventure training, RAF station visits. Aims to introduce its members to the RAF career options in both regular and reserve service. Attend RAF Leeming every friday.
