The 903 EAW currently based at RAF Akritori in Cyprus is involved in this operation. RAF forces have been fighting against ISIL forces in Eastern Syria and IRAQ since 2014. Over 1500 strikes have been made against both countries using a combination of the MQ-9A Reaper, Typhoon and previously the Tornado GR4. This is the most intense flying mission the RAF has undertaken in the past 25 years.

Operation Azotize

This is a NATO operation involved the 140 EAW and 9 Bomber squadron. The forces are based at Amari airbase in Estonia policing the airspace of NATO’s Eastern border. The Typhoons have been involved in QRA interceptions of Russian aircraft near to NATO airspace.

Operation Broadshare

This is a non conflict operation involving the Air mobility forces of the RAF. This has been ongoing in British territories since the outbreak of COVID in 2020 to vaccinate and provide assistance to citizens in overseas British Territories such as the Falkland Islands where an A400M Atlas brought supplies to construct an oxygen production facility.
