What are the 7 signs of cancer?
- Change in bowel or bladder
- A sore that doesn’t heal
- Unusual bleeding or discharge
- Thickening or lump in breast or elsewhere

- Obvious change in wart or mole
- Nagging cough or hoarseness
What are cervical cancer risk factors?
- sex before 20 years old
- 2+ sex partners
- Intercourse with male with multi. sex partners
- smoker (hx smoking)
- HPV (or have sex with male with HPV)
When should HPV vaccines be given?
3 doses from ages 9-26 years old
What does the HPV vaccine protect against?
HPV type: 6, 11, 16 and 18
What increases your risk of skin cancer?
- fair skin
- blue eyes
- long term outside exposure
- early aggressive sun burns
- family hx
Signs and symptoms of drug abuse
- late to work, increased absenteeism
- increased productivity for short periods of time
- decreasing productivity, quality of work

- change in personality, increased irritability

- social isolation
- women who: guilty, isolated, low-self esteem
- substance abuse in the home
- financial stressors
