2
Q
Equation for a quadratic
A
ax²+bx+c
3
Q
I’m doing noted on factorising quadratic from yr10 cos those notes are easier to understand
A
Yeah
4
Q
Actually
How to factorise by pairing?
A
Split into two parts, ‘bracketise’ the common bit on both parts, the merge them together
That’s really hard to understand so here’s an example
xy + 3x - 2y - 6
= x(y+3) -2(y+3)
= (y+3) (x-2)
5
Q

A
a²+b²=c²
Hypotenuse is c²
6
Q
