Q

What is truncation?

A

A number where all digits are removed after a certain point. This is NOT the same as rounding

Eg.

7.379 truncated to 2 d.p is 7.37

Q

How to find the upper/lower bounds for TRUNCATING?

A

Lower bound is the same as the truncated number, for the upper bound add the accuracy

Eg find upper and lower bounds of x when truncated to 1dp is 3.5

LB: 3.5
UB: 3.6
