full cab unattended bring stickers TMM book log a TEC on the portable close the doors and walk looking for door.

A

stable if time permits
to locate the fault activate each cab one by one and locate the motor that has both fault lights
place the traction isolate switch to isolate and extinguish the train lines fault light
book as per FMP
the traction fault light will remain on in that car

A

if automatic announcement is broken driver is to inform passengers of junctions express running, terminations

if PA is inoperative check DTRS and use if available
if both are defective book
stable for 2 minutes, restart and wait an additional 4 minute and re-test PA

A

press x on the keypad if that doesn’t work
deactivate cab trip and reset MCBS
enter TDN when prompted
perform radio test
TMM
to isolate :
insert the portable radio to cradle
trip the CB
reactivate the cab the portable is now the primary radio but the cradle will not charge it
TMM
if both are defective the driver must report immediately by any means necessary
