What are the differences between straight wing and swept wing?
The critical mach number is significantly higher in a swept wing. The stall of a swept wing occurs in the wingtip first, in a straight wing the stall happens at the root first.
What is the purpose of the APU?
To provide air for engine start and air conditioning/heat when engines are not operating and providing such air. Also, to provide a source of electrical power when engines are not running and when the aircraft is not on external power.
