- You need to be able to be yourself and show vulnerability
- It is all about what you bring to the job
- Teams need to work together as feeling safe with those who you work with will lead to much higher productivity
Managers are the tool to lead culture
- They must lead through example through
- They need to be passionate and driven and truly believe in the the organization
- Intrinsic motivation is missive as employees and managers both need to derive personal pleasure from their work
- Managers need to understand their employees on a personal level (take the time to really know them)
- Managers must care about employees

Video 2: Small steps lead to Giant Leaps
Any new situation makes you either confront, complain, or conform.
Confront: rejecting the cultures value and sticking with the idea yours are the best
Complain: Oppose the value and complain about the new ways and difference in culture
Conform: Adopt the cultures ways to truly benefit
We all see the world through cultural glasses
We can all benefit from diversity.
Video 3 Question: How do we leverage strengths
How do we find employee strengths and honour differences
This video was with the 7 year old boy who worse two different socks and two different shoes
He was best friends with Steven who was an autistic individual who calls them everyday
The premise for employees is that you need an environment that fosters individuals uniqueness and individuality
Ideally the work culture should allow creativity, uniqueness, and the ability for those who wish to, stand out!
This boils down to the how do we value difference or weirdness in the company
