Positive: Refill takes longer than 3 sec or no refill

Allen’s for circulation

A

Patient opens and closes fist quickly
Therapist compresses Radial and Ulnar Arteries
Patient opens hand and one artery is released
Positive: If released side does not return in 7-10 seconds
Perform for BOTH ulnar and radial sides
