What is a worldview?
way people think about the world. People form decisions because of their ‘worldview’.
Name the types of worldviews/religions.
Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, atheism, humanism.
What is theism?
Belief in gods existence.
What is monotheism?
Belief of only one god
What is polytheism?
Belief in more than one god
What is atheism?
Belief there is no god in existence.
What is agnosticism?
Remain undecided as to if there is an existing god(s)

What is Christianity?
Belief in Christian god who sent son, Jesus, to die for sins. Forgiveness is given to those who trust in this sacrifice + through power of Holy Spirit, Christian’s live for Jesus.
What is Islam?
Believe allah is god who sent final revelation to Muhammad, (prophet). Muslims hp
E through obedience to Qur’an + 5 pillars of Islam they will gain forgiveness on judgement day.
What is Hinduism?
Polytheistic religion. Emphasises Brahma as creator for whose attributes + characteristics are emanated through many gods + goddesses. Hindus are concerned with how one lives by teaching than where world came from.
what is a truth claim?
teaching that forms individual viewpoint.
