Give some main laws or beliefs regarding humanism?
Only life we have is this one
NO god
NO afterlife
They stand for a kind society. (Without discrimination).
Rely on scientific knowledge
Believe humans can live fulfilling lives with religious beliefs
Humans get their ethics from the lessons of history, personal experience + thouggt
What is prejudice?
Opinion on someone simply based on that persons membership to a particular gorup
What is discrimination?
Treating someone unfairly because of who they are or because they possess certain characteristics
What is equality?
Being equal, + being treated equally (fairly)
What is tolerance?
Understanding & accepting the varying opinions in society about religion or politics
What is empathy?
Ability to understand and feel other’s emotions
