Maria Corazon “Cory” Sumulong Cojuangco-Aquino

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
was an activist and prolific author advocating civil rights throughout her life. Her being born blind did not stop her from helping people and pursuing her cause. She published 14 books, 500 articles, held speaking tours in over 35 countries on civil rights, and impacted over 50 policies.
This included making Braille the US official writing system for the blind.
Helen Adams Keller
