What is scientific equipment?
Tools that help you measure something in a scientific experiment.
Example: stopwatch, tape measure
What is a classification key?
A set of questions that help determine what group a living thing belongs to.
What is a tally table?
A series of vertical lines used to count things.
How do you interpret data?
Using tables, charts and graphs.
How do you carry out a fair test?
Keep everything the same except for the thing you are testing.
What are conclusions?
Information you gain from what you observe in a scientific experiment.
What are secondary information sources?
Some things are difficult to research yourself and it is easier to find out about what other people have found in their research.
You can do this online, in books or television.
