How does sound work?
The object making the sound vibrates which causes the air around the object to vibrate.
These vibrations travel into your ear and are turned into sound.
What can sound travel through?
Solids, liquids and gases.
What is pitch?
How high or low the sound is.
What is volume?
How loud or quiet the sound is.
This relates to the strength of the vibration an object causes.
What is a source of light?
Something that gives off light waves.
What is reflection?
When light hits a smooth, shiny surface, it bounces off at the same angle it hit it.
How do your eyes work?
Light travels in straight lines and bounces off objects. Some light enters the eye and is processed in the brain to show you what is being seen.
