Ensuring the initial MFB Safe report is completed as soon as practical and assigning the MFB Safe Report to an appropriate investigator.

The OIC / Supervisor must ensure that the initial MFB Safe report is completed promptly and assign it to the right investigator.

What are the responsibilities of the OIC / Supervisor of a claimant?

Answer 2

Completing the initial MFB Safe report when a claimant is unable to do so and assigning the MFB Safe report to an appropriate investigator.

If the claimant is unable to complete the report, the OIC / Supervisor must do it and assign it to an investigator.

What are the responsibilities of the OIC / Supervisor of a claimant?

Reporting to the MFB Workcover claims section any additional information that may assist in making a decision concerning the acceptance of liability.

The OIC / Supervisor should provide any relevant additional information to help in the decision-making process for accepting liability.
