What was Wolseys Reforms to the justice system
I’m 1515-1517 wolsye wanted to strengthen the court of the star chamber due to its flaws(unjust)
- he increased court work rate from 12 cases to 120 cases.
-supported cases of poor against the rich
-oversaw many cases in person
( some felt as if his intentions were getting revenge on the rich. Aswell as him punishing those who he had grudges against)
What was the problem withEnclosures and how did Wolsey deal with it?
PROBLEM:: Individual land owners were fencing of land for profitable sheep sheering. Which caused land farmer forced of there land(poverty)
Wolseys resolve: 1517 set an investigation on enclosed land. There was over 260 court cases brought up against land owners. (1523) rapacious owners forced a halt in further investigations.

HenryVIII needed money for wars. Original tax was one fifteenth and tenths. Where communities in rural areas pay one fifteenth, and urban areas pay one tenth
IMPROVED TAX: subsidy tax based on up to date assessment on persons income.(greater income, more payed)
This tax raised more money in (1513-1516) but not enough.
