When HAC/UA are current for mission. May be waived by CO
Currency Requal Flights
2 HAC/2 UA that are qualified for a specific mission may fly together to regain currency - Noted on sked
Flight in Leave Status
In no case shall a pilot/aircrewman fly in an aircraft as a functioning crew member without Type Wing Commander approval.
NVD Currency
NITE Lab every 2 years, 2 NVD hours withing 45 days. If lapses by 365 days, initial required
TERF currency
Day: 1 hr in 180 days
Night: 2 NVD TERF hr in past 30 days
CSW Currency
Initial: 600 day/600 night within 30 days
Currency: Annual - 400 night rounds w/ AGI
90 Day: 400 rds (200 night)
Min. Crew for Engine Start/Rotor Engagement
Engine Start: 1 PQM
Rotor Engagement: 1 H2P and 1 Qualified observer to read checklist and guard collective
Proceeding Beyond BINGO
- Establish 2 way comms with ship
2. Obtain positive positional data (visual, TACAN, Radar, L16)

Requirements for Practice Autorotations
- APU and C-Power On
- Aircraft gross weight less than 18,000 lbs
- Operable RADALT on both flight displays
- Night practice autos are prohibited
Gunners Belts
Shall only be attached per NATOPS. No more than one gunners belt per ring. Belt shall be adjusted short enough so aircrew do not fall out of aircraft.
