- Shipboard launches/recoveries shall be made during daylight hours (can be waived by Commander for operational necessity)

Closed Airfields
All naval aircraft are prohibited from taking off/landing at closed airfields except in case of emergency
Other Than Airfields
Fields, highways, parks
- Military requirement exists
- Safeguards taken to eliminate hazards to people or property
- No legal objections
Practice Autorotation Requirements
- Limits of field boundary over surface a full auto
- Crash, Rescue, Firefighting Equipment available
- Approval from tower
PAX released from passenger brief
- SAR missions
- Large troop contingents, recon parties, ect.
- Shipboard operations when landings are precluded
Oxygen Usage (altitudes and time)
Shall be deemed mission essential by CO/OIC: 10,000 - 13,000ft max 1 hour
Maximum Scheduled “Time Awake”
Shall not be >18 hrs, if exceeded, minimum 15 hrs off duty time.
Circadian Rythm
1 day adjustment for each timezone crossed in excess of 3.
Maximum Recommended Flight Time
1 Day: 12 hours 1 Week: 50 hours 30 Days: 100 hours 90 Days: 265 hours 365: 960 hours
Alcohol
Prohibited within 12 hours of any mission brief or flight planning
Caffeine Intake
450mg (3-4 cups of drip coffee) max recommended.
Dental
Injectable Drugs (Novacane): 12 hrs down IV: 24 hours down Class 3: Grounding
