acute/stridor/

consider../ emergency?

A

foreign object aspiration

/inhalation injury

/angioedema./ anaphylaxis/

infection /

emergency!!immediate consultation for airway management usually including ENT or anesthesia consultation!!!

Hint: object, allergy, infection hint:

stridor is about pb w inspiration bec somthing came INside

Q

wheezing or stridor

/ important pivotal point/

acute/wheezing/

consider

A

acute:

trauma, “accident“aspiration

infectious causes (URI, bionchitis),

lung: asthma/

heart: HF,

hint: hoT vIntageS
hint: acute lung wheezing== lung siffler comme un ballon qui se degongle =expiration, push the dominos which fall on the

  1. trauma: fall on the rose and punch the lung avec l’epine
  2. “accident”aspiration: fall on the rod which is aspirated in the lungs
  3. infectious causes (URI, bionchitis): really large dominos==god rain of germs causing infections
  4. lung: asthma/ fall on a gay ram => ram mad but au lieu de charger=take the inhaler and perfume himself
  5. heart: HF: domino fall on the rear heart et le fait tomber

A

alt dx: Allergic rhinitis

Vocal cord dysfxn

/Must Not Miss=COPD

hint: episodic/intermittent wheezing: on/off/etiology= domino fait osciller la
40. allergic rhinitis: rose in front of a nose qui eternue on/off

41 vocal cord dysfxn= rod=big penis ki va et vient dans la bouche=> a la fin u can’t talk

emergency= press on red button of the fire men=> light and sound

28-90= firemen (FD) r cutting w a vase coPD

Q

wheezing or stridor/

EPISODIC attacks of respiratory distress accompanied by wheezing or stridor or both + no resp to bronchiodilator/

leading hypothesis

A

Paradoxical vocal cord movement

hint: no response to BRONCHOdilator=>it’s in the airway but not as low
hint: on/off respiratory distress (international sign of choking)+deflating ballon+ no inhaler= perfum works/ domino up n down

40- rose qui entre et sort de la corde vocal
