What is the process that allows cell division to progress to the M-phase? Flashcards

1
Q

What happens in G1 phase?

A
  • For cells to divide and proliferate, cyclin D is first synthesised to activate Cdk4/6 in order for cells to pass the R-point
  • Cyclin E levels increase and activates Cdk2
