-A positive view of humans as naturally social creatures that prioritizes the group over the individual.
-Prefer to work together rather than independently
-Will work more effectively in groups than independently.

-Foundational equality – innate human rights, political and legal quality.
-Rejection of natural hierarchies – individuals have the potential to take up any position within society.
