what is a project sponsor?
senior management level, responsible for success, provides guidance and resources to the project team and manager.
what is the project board?
supports the sponsor in providing direction and management. it is not a democracy, executive makes final decisions.

executive, senior user and senior supplier
what is a steering committee?
governing body of key stakeholders, oversee and support the project to ensure goals are met
what is the project team?
the entire team; manager, team leaders, team members etc.

what is an end-user/customer?
the person who will be using the solution on a regular basis. they communicate project needs, involved in every stage of the project.
what is a project stakeholder?
individuals or organizations who are actively involved in the project, interests may be positively or negatively affected by project execution or successful completion. (includes consultants and contractors)
what is a consultant?
provide oversight and leadership from beginning to completion. manage budgets, resources, relationships, as well as planning, developing, and executing schedules.
what is a contractor?
they break construction projects into activities and tasks.
