what is quantitative information?
data expressing a certain quantity, amount, or range. it is numerical data. usually gathered using instruments such as questionnaires that include rating scales.
what is qualitative information?
non-numerical information that helps us understand individuals’ social reality, it describes qualities or characteristics. can be collected using questionnaires, interviews, or observations, and it frequently appears in narrative form.
what is actual information?
consists of acts about data on events that have already happened so things don’t need to be predicted.
what is forecasted information?
the process of making predictions, guesses, or assumptions of the possible outcomes of a project. can only be done when the project is at least 20% complete.
